Captain Andy Bliss was introduced to Lake Ontario at an early age and hasn’t been able to get away from her lure since. During his high school years, he worked alongside many talented charter captains allowing him to learn and perfect many different techniques and skills that he shares with his clients today. Once Captain Andy graduated from Nyack High School he went on to attend Oswego State. It was here that Captain Bliss was able to explore and conquer the many tributaries of Lake Ontario. Captain Andy began guiding while he was still attending school and arranged his schedule to allow as many days on the water as possible. Since 2002 the love of the chase has developed into a full-time career for Captain Andy Bliss. As a full time fishing guide, Captain Andy strives to provide his clients with the most memorable experience as possible whether it be on the river or the lake. Chasin’ Tail Adventures is one of only two full time guides who fish the Oswego River. Along with his river business, Captain Andy also works with Capt. Tom Burke of Cold Steel Sport Fishing from May to September on his 36′ Egg Harbor. We will provide our clients with a comfortable and fun fishing experience on board one of Lake Ontario’s premier charter boats.
